My full name is Lemmy-Boy Hoogendoorn, but just call me Lemmy. I was born (1983) and raised in Rotterdam.
I find it hard to put a label on myself. But to give you an indication of what I can and really want, it basicly comes down to this.
I love designing, making beautiful visuals for interactive interfaces or posters that communicate something to the people who want and need to know. But just designing something that looks good ain't gonna cut it. It has to make sense. Does the concept behind it still stands strong and reflects back in the designs, or does it work propperly as you were expecting it to be? This is of importance just as much making it look good estheticly.
So am I a graphic designer? I think so. But I also would like to think of myself as a conceptual designer. A designer who knows what interactivity should feel like. Thinking ahead of new possibilities and avoiding the common mistakes.
I just wanna make cool stuff that works.
